The Louvre - This is an excellent site that includes a detailed history of the Louvre, a virtual tour, a description of the collections, images of artwork and current exhibits. This description only begins to describe this intricate and well made web site.
Piano on the Net - Piano Nanny offers free piano lessons. The lessons cover all levels. The service is free.
Bulletin Boards for the Music Classroom - This site includes bulletin board ideas for the K-12 classroom. The web builder is a teacher who has been teaching music for seven years.
Music Teacher's Resource Site - The MTRS site provides many links with lesson ideas and it offers an 'Ask an Expert' link. A free subscription for support material.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum - This excellent web site offers links to the Hall of Fame, exhibitions and the museum. The graphics are wonderful and the navigation throughout the page is direct and well designed.
Poetry 180 - This Library of Congress site, created by Poet Laureate Billy Collins, debuts a new program for making poetry an active part of the daily experience of American high school students. 180 poems are presented, making it easy to hear or read a poem every day of the school year.
Poetry Daily - This link presents poems to read, information about poets, poetry in the news and information about newly published books and anthologies. Also features information on National Poetry Month.
Academy of American Poets - This site provides detailed information about National Poetry Month, including events, resources, frequently asked questions and information on the 100th birthday celebration of Langston Hughes.
