We are pleased to announce that the Peace Corps' Coverdell World Wise
Schools program is celebrating twenty years of global education! Located
in the same Peace Corps office as the Master's International and
Fellows/USA programs, our mission is to foster an understanding of other
cultures and global issues by providing educational resources based on
Peace Corps experiences and facilitating communication between Peace
Corps Volunteers and U.S. classrooms.

On October 15-16, 2009, we will be holding our second global issues
conference for educators interested in integrating global issues into
their curriculum. This year we anticipate having 200 participants join
us at Peace Corps Headquarters for our conference, titled "Educating for
a Flattened World." <http://www.peacecorps.gov/wws/conference/

Below is a conference announcement. Please forward it on to any
participants in your education programs who might be interested in
participating in this event.
