Traditional Ed.D. Program
The traditional Ed.D. Degree program requires students to attend courses on The University of Montana campus, usually in the evenings. There may be select courses in a student’s doctoral program of study that can be taken in an online format through UM Online.
Ed.D. Cohort Program
The doctoral cohort program provides a course of study over weekends and better accommodates those who work during the week and cannot travel to campus to attend courses. Although both programs are offered in Missoula, some students find the weekend cohort program to better fit their schedules. Cohorts begin when there are a sufficient number of students interested.
