Description
Applicants to the Ed.S. should have a M.A. degree in Counseling or a closely related field. The exact course requirements for the degree will depend on the quality and content of the student's previous graduate program and on the student's career goals. The student's advisor will compare the student's transcript to the Program's Masters of Arts program. An individualized program will be developed in consultation with the student's advisor. Ed.S. students will be admitted according to the faculty-student ratios set by CACREP, our national accrediting body. To apply to the Ed.S., an applicant should have a minimum GRE score of 1000. On rare occasions, in the event of a lower GRE score, a combination of other factors may allow for provisional acceptance.
