Description
The doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision is intended for M.A. or Ed.S. level counseling practitioners who wish to teach and/or supervise in higher education or in school and community settings. Applicants must, therefore, have recent clinical experience and be licensed/certified or license-eligible. We require that at graduation with the Ed.D., the student have two years (4000 hours) of experience. Ed.D. students will be admitted according to the capacity regulations set by CACREP. Ed.D. applicants must have a minimum GRE score of 1,100. On rare occasions, in the event of a lower GRE score, a combination of other factors may allow for provisional acceptance.
