Description
Students preparing to teach in elementary school complete a major in elementary education. Prior to their application and admission to the professional Teacher Education Program, students are identified as pre-education majors and are advised by the pre-education advisor, Jayna Lutz, whose office is EDUC 211. Upon admission to the program, students are considered elementary education majors and are advised by faculty within the department. The elementary education degree and licensure program require a minimum of 128 credits.
