The School of Education has graduated nearly 11,000 alumni since its beginning in 1930 (and even earlier as the Department of Philosophy and Education). The alums are located in every state and in the District of Columbia. Over 47 percent are still in Montana! They are also living and working in American Samoa, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Ecuador, Finland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Thirteen are in the Armed Services. School of Education graduates play a key role in shaping the future of our society.
